Dr. David Stovall is a professor of Educational Policy Studies and African-American Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Dr. Torie Weiston-Serdan, is an emerging leader in the youth mentoring field, and author of Critical Mentoring: A Practical Guide. Join this morning gathering as they kickoff our restorative journey with a powerful keynotes focused on how to cultivate affirming school spaces where Youth of Color thrive, as well as why its important to engage Critical Mentorship when working with and supporting Youth of Color.
